Participants must be at least 7 years old (in 2017) to register. Participants under the age of 18 years old (in 2017) must complete the Parental Consent Form and submit the form to the organisers during goodie bag collection period from. Students are encouraged to obtain written permission from their school before participating in Hair for Hope event.
Walk-in participants must register themselves at VivoCity, Amphitheatre, Level 3, before shaving. Kindly note that hourly shaving timeslots are limited and they will be assigned on a “first-come, first- served” basis, subject to availability. Walk-in registration will close when daily shaving timeslots are fully assigned.
You may proceed to join the shaving queue at Level One, an hour before your assigned shaving timeslot. Registered participants are admitted to the shaving queue based on their coloured wristbands. Kindly keep your wristbands on your hands as it is used as for identification purpose for admission into the shaving queue. For crowd control purposes, we regret that we will not be able to admit person(s) without Hair for Hope wristbands or anyone with tampered wristbands, into the shaving queue.
Due to hygiene reasons, individuals with scalp conditions or sensitivities such as scalp injuries, sores on scalp, scars on scalp (from operations or injuries) are advised not to participate in the event.
Due to space constraints on the stage and safety considerations, supporters are not allowed to go on stage for phototaking/ videotaping. There will be a designated area in front of the stage for such opportunities.
A minimum of 15 shavees and maximum of 30 shavees is encouraged to form a group. If you have difficulty meeting the minimum number, we encourage you to register as an individual.
Our hairstylists will leave an approximate hair length of 1-2mm.

If you are a first time shavee, you are required to create a Hair for Hope account before registering your participation.

For individual shavees, you will need to book your preferred shaving timeslot upon registration.
For group shavees, your group coordinator will inform you of your shaving timeslot.
For individual and group shavees, you may change your shaving timeslot and T-shirt size (subject to availability) before the official closing of registration on 5 June 2017 or when all online registration timeslots are taken up, whichever is earlier.
For satellite shavees, you may change your T-shirt size no later than 5 days before the satellite event.
Participants are to report at the registration counter ONE HOUR before your shaving timeslot.
Yes. You may walk in to our main event at VivoCity on either 29 or 30 July 2017, subject to the availability of shaving timeslots. A minimum donation of $20 is encouraged for participation as a walk-in shavee.
You will need to present your identification documents (NRIC/ Passport/ Employment Pass), walk in registration form and Parental Consent Form (if applicable) at the registration counter.
